A WEYMOUTH woman who went missing for more than a week has been found.
Police say they are no longer concerned for the welfare of 49-year-old Claire Lawrence after launching an appeal for her whereabouts on Friday.
Claire was reported missing from her home on Dorchester Road just after 6pm on Wednesday last week.
She had not made any contact with family or friends since Friday, February 27 and police said they were becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.
Officers released a photo of Claire and appealed for anyone with information as to her whereabouts to get in touch with them.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said they could not disclose full details about how she had been found but could confirm that as of yesterday they were no longer concerned for her welfare.
