DIRECTORS of Fordingtons Windows and Conservatories were presented with a certificate at their best open weekend so far.

John Manley and Mark Richardson received the award for the second year running to mark the company's performance in sales, customer care and knowledge.

The accolade came as staff threw open the doors of the company's Conservatory Village at Goulds Garden Centre in Weymouth to mark its spring launch.

Fordingtons' senior manager Alan Diamond said: "Fordingtons' managing director John Manley was extremely pleased for Fordingtons to receive the award for the second year running.

"We look forward to continuing the high quality of service and customer care that we have been recognised for."

The certificate was presented by the Windowmaker manufacturer to Fordingtons to recognise the company's outstanding achievement in 2006 - its exceptional performance in customer care, product knowledge, sales presentation and sales performance.

Windowmaker director Giovanni Sangiovanni presented the certificate to Mr Manley and Mr Richardson.

Staff held the open day on Saturday and Sunday. They are showing off new ranges of furniture and furnishings, including Lloyd Loom products after the company was visited and accredited by the furniture maker.

Mr Diamond said: "The weekend itself was a huge success with the biggest attendance so far.

"We had positive feedback from all clients with regard to the show site, which is the largest in the area, and the new range of 2007 furniture.

"The Lloyd Loom products went down extremely well and the new profile windows on display proved to be very popular."

Fordingtons Windows and Conservatories is one company in the Fordingtons group.

Others are estate agents and letting agents, joiners and builders.
