To all those who support the building of the relief road - I have only one question - what on earth are you whining about?

I often drive from Dorchester to Weymouth in the supposed rush' hour going home and yes, the traffic does go a bit more slowly than at other times of the day. But so what? I calculate that my journey is only longer then by about five or 10 minutes - big deal.

Are these supporters of this totally-outdated plan to build a bypass really so full of their own self-importance that an additional five or 10 minutes at rush' hour is considered a major disruption to their lives?

Is it important enough to justify irreversible destruction of our beautiful countryside and untold millions of pounds of taxpayers' money? How incredibly arrogant.

Come on people, open your eyes, look at the beauty you still have around you - be grateful that the journey is so relatively straightforward and stop whining about a totally non-existent problem.
