In order to ridicule David Moth's 19 proposals, Michael Wheeler comes up with an even more ridiculous idea (Easier way to solve problem', Echo, March 17).

Has he ever tried to negotiate the route he gives (a link between Nottington Lane and Watery Lane) with anything larger than a car?

How would he access Nottington Lane? Would it be via Radipole Lane and the Causeway (the mind boggles).

And at the other end would he use Elwell Street (more boggling)?

I can only assume he had tongue firmly in both cheeks when contriving his letter.
