Firefighters were called to deal with a grass fire near Owermoigne in the early hours of this morning.
Just after 3am, fire crews from Bere Regis received a call alerting them to a grass fire in the verge on the A352 between Wool and Owermoigne.
Luckily, the incident was reported by a passing motorist and firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire in the hedgerow.
