MORE jobs have been created at Dorchester's Brewery Square with the opening of the latest store at the town centre development.
Women's fashion retailer Stolen from Susie has opened up shop in the square today, employing a total of eight people with six new jobs created for local people.
Susie and Kevin Chapman founded the independent retailer with their daughter Lucy in Totnes in Devon in 2005 and the new manager and staff for their latest store have all been recruited from Dorchester.
Susie said: "Excellent customer service is a major part of the Stolen from Susie shopping experience.
"Our stock changes almost weekly and is priced to make you smile.
"We have a sofa with newspapers for the men, so they can relax and leave you to browse.
"Our changing area has three generous cubicles and room for friends and family to help make your choices.
"We are all so excited to be opening in Brewery Square."
Andrew Wadsworth, director of Waterhouse which is developing the £100million Brewery Square scheme in partnership with Resolution Property, welcomed the latest arrival.
He said: "Stolen from Susie is a great addition to the retail line up in Brewery Square, filling the last of the shops in Brewery Square itself.
"Bringing some Totnes style into Dorchester is a coup for the scheme.
"We are sure they will be very popular and we wish them the very best with their terrific looking new shop."
