CONGRATULATIONS to Ryan and his team for putting on Weymouth’s carnival in the worst weather that we can remember in over 50 years.
Of course it was disappointing not to see the Red Arrows and the Historic Flight, but the true British spirit showed through with the carnival procession in the pouring rain.
Well done all the bands, majorettes, walking groups and the lucky ones with some shelter on the floats, not forgetting the hundreds of supporters lining the route and cheering everyone taking part.
A big THANK YOU to all concerned
