Dorset residents with learning disabilities set for a wheely good time
DORSET residents with learning disabilities are set for a wheely good time thanks to a charity fundraising drive.
A new wheelchair bike will give a number of them the chance to experience the joys of a riding a bicycle for the first time.
The specially designed wheelchair bike will be made available following a successful fundraising initiative from Leonard Cheshire Disability with a coffee morning event raising £1,000 to enable Dorset Learning Disability Services to purchase the Duet wheelchair bicycle.
