WHEN you have an increase of 50 per cent in drug deaths, doesn’t it tell everybody who lives here what state our town is in?
Standing in the queue in our local chemist I was aghast to see young men and women lining up to take methadone, and along the Rodwell Trail there are loads of drug needles and empty wine bottles.
If I can see what is going on in the town I love where are the police?
They must know who is selling?
Not only is it maddening to see a once proud town sink further into a mire of benefit houses and little else, it’s also annoying to me as a householder who has had bikes and mowers stolen by these drug addicts who in turn will sell my bike which took me all summer grass cutting to pay for.
