RETIRED factory worker Thomas Grace, 67, would like to quit smoking when the ban arrives - but thinks it's probably too late for him.
"I've tried in the past with a bit of success but I've been smoking for 50 years and I just fall back into the habit," he said.
"I think the ban is a good move. It's going to be great for non-smokers and people with bad chests.
"I'm sure it will reduce smoking as a whole as well. If people can't smoke in the pub how many times realistically will they actually go out in the rain?"
