Debris from a three car crash in Blandford closed the A354.
The incident happened at 7.19am and the road was closed between the Tesco Roundabout at Blandford and the Thornicombe crossroads, because of debris from the three cars was across the road.
Dorset Police said the vehicles involved were a white Renault tipper-truck, registered to a Salisbury company, a white Vauxhall Zafira, registered to a Weymouth man, and a white three-wheel Robin Reliant, registered to a man from Blandford.
Ambulance went to the scene but it is not believed any injuries were serious.
The local authority were called to clear up the debris and recovery was arranged for the vehicles.
The road was reopened and clear by 9.16am.
