PUB worker Shelley Bond, 39, of Wessex Road, Dorchester, smokes 10-20 cigarettes a day, and is not going to give up when the ban comes into place.
She said: "I agree with no smoking where food is being served, but in pubs and clubs I don't see a problem with it. It's just going to take the trade from the pubs. I don't like being told I'm not allowed to do something.
"It won't stop me going in a pub but it's really not fair on the landlord. Pubs can be like their living rooms and they can't even smoke after it's closed because they're going to come round with meter things."
