MORE talented residents had their chance in the spotlight.
Singers, musicians and even a breakdance group took part in the latest auditions for Dorset’s Got Talent at Freshwater Beach Holiday Park.
The Echo-backed competition supports Weldmar Hospicecare Trust.
This is the third year the competition for homegrown talent is being held. This year’s prize includes £500 cash, a family holiday at Freshwater Breach Holiday Park and a guaranteed performance at the Dorset Festival 2016 in front of around 5,000 people.
Events fundraiser for Weldmar Katie Slade said the second audition on Saturday went well with a range of performers taking to the stage.
She added: “It’s brilliant to see so many talented youngsters taking part in Dorset’s Got Talent and we look forward to an fantastic showcase evening at the Grand Final on Saturday, March 12.”
The next audition is this Saturday. Budding performers can download an application form via weld-hospice.org.uk/talent
