EMMALY Ring was in the right venue when she told judges at the contest in the King's Arms that she wants to become a hotel manager.
But she admitted that she might find the working hours hard when she revealed: "I'm not very good in the mornings."
Emmaly, 18, is studying dance, geography and travel and tourism as a sixth-former at the Thomas Hardye School in Dorchester.
She put her dance skills to good use by teaching interviewer Maria Greenwood of Wessex FM how to do the funky chicken.
She said: "Dance is fun - I just love it."
Emmaly told the judges that the one of the maddest things she had done was to dress up as a green frog for a carnival.
She said: "That was quite crazy."
