THE BBC came to Beaminster last week to film their new show Street Auction, hosted by Flog It star Paul Martin.
Members of the Lyme Regis Majorettes performed as part of the filming and have shared their experiences with the Echo.

It was a great experience and something that I will probably never get the chance to do again.
I was really nervous and so were the rest of our troupe, but we were well looked after and the day was relaxed and became a fun experience for us all.
I felt very excited to be part of the whole day’s process and was really pleased with the outcome for the day and the worthy cause.
Thank you to the BBC for the experience and we all look forward to seeing ourselves on TV.

My experience was fantastic and exciting, but at the same time a little scary.
Who would have thought that at the age of 11 I would be on national TV doing something I enjoy?
This was my first experience of being filmed for TV and the majorettes had a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I would like to say on behalf of myself and the majorettes how honoured and proud we were to have been asked and to be part of the worthy event.
We now have to wait for the series to be aired sometime in September and I’m looking forward to seeing myself on TV.
