YET another attempt by the Remain camp to achieve their aims by another route!

Paul Cocks tries the stale argument that the electorate did not know what it was voting for on June 23 and therefore we must have another vote once ‘all the details are clear’.

This is patronising rubbish, the electorate knew perfectly well what it was voting for; an end to being ruled by a faceless, arrogant elite in Brussels over whom we have no control, and end to the manifest contempt with which that elite and their Westminster mouthpieces hold the country.

The referendum was the one and only chance for the disenfranchised majority to have their say and ‘narrow vote’ or not their decision was absolutely clear.

There will no doubt be other attempts to obfuscate or confuse the issue but I think any politician that tries that will be in for a rude awakening.

Furthermore, unlike the doom-sayers like Mr Cocks I do not believe the Scots will vote to leave the the UK even if they get the opportunity which I doubt.

Why would they leave a succesful, historic union which they have done so much to create and foster to join a failing, corrupt, undemocratic organisation in which they would very small and very poor country on its northern fringe?

I believe that, if we hold our nerve and have clear objectives the UK has a bright future outside of the EU
