FIRE crews attended after a light aircraft was forced to carry out an emergency landing in north Dorset this afternoon.
A spokesman for the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that nobody was injured in the incident, which saw crews from Sturminster Newton and Gillingham called out to a location near Marnhull shortly before 4pm.
The spokesman said all of the occupants of the four-seater aircraft were checked and none of them had sustained any injuries.
They added that there was an airfield in the vicinity but it was not clear at this stage whether they had just come from there or were attempting to land there.
