FAKE £50 Scottish bank notes have been circulating in Weymouth.
The notes, which are of poor quality, have turned up at a variety of businesses.
A man suspected of being linked to the fraud is described as white, aged in his mid-40s, with short dark hair, the words Love' and Hate' tattooed on his knuckles and speaking with a Scottish accent.
PC Kevin Eames said: "We would remind all shop staff to make their usual checks when receiving bank notes and remain vigilant."
