CHILDREN at Weymouth's Beechcroft St Paul's Primary School have been getting to grips with art and making robots.
Every child in school produced a piece of artwork with different classes having different themes such as still life, etching and printing.
The school then arranged an exhibition of their work, every piece being framed to showcase their talents to family and friends who could buy individual pieces.
Pupils have also been building robots in the guidance of Setpoint Dorset which encourages young people to learn about science and technology.
All 22 children in Year 6 were divided into teams and a challenge set to build a computer-controlled robot able to complete a number of tasks.
Headteacher Sarah Sprague said: "I think both activities inspired the children and provided an opportunity to celebrate a positive approach to curriculum delivery."
