A DERELICT stone house on Portland has been declared unsafe after a malicious fire ripped through it early today.
Neighbours said it was the third time in a week there had been a fire at the property, which is in the middle of the Gooseberry Green off Weston Road.
Island firefighters were supported fighting the blaze by crews from Weymouth and had it under control by 3.35am.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area of Weston Road between 1.30-2am.
