A COACH driver has been seriously injured after his vehicle collided with a Swanage Railway steam train in the Purbecks.
Police said the accident happened on the Quarr Farm level crossing, which is just off the A351 between Swanage and Harman's Cross, at 12.40pm today.
The driver was trapped in his cab and was released by firefighters before being flown to Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester by the air ambulance.
There was no-one else on the coach and there are no other reports of any injuries.
