SIMON Browne is calling all members of Weymouth Cricket Club to have their say as the Seasiders hold their Annual General Meeting (AGM) and presentation night at the Famous Old Spa on Friday night.

The event starts at 7.30pm and Browne wants all of his players to turn up and he also wants to see some new faces.

The captain told Echosport: “We need some more bodies at the club so, it’s an open invitation for anyone that wants to get involved.

“Last year was difficult in terms of numbers but, we’re hoping to get a second team up and running for next year.

“It will be a youthful side and it’s something we really want to encourage.

“It will help supplement the club for years to come.

“Any cricketers are welcome and they can come along and introduce themselves.”

The captain’s report will be presented at the AGM and the officers will also be chosen.
