I was very sad to read in the Echo about the death of Guy Higgins, Weymouth's Punch and Judy man.
I used to be the attendant at the toilet blocks on the Esplanade and I would see him every day.
He always carried a little brown leather case with his puppets in and it looked just like the old Chancellor of the Exchequer budget box.
We cracked a joke together every single day and I would really like to pay tribute to him and say thank you for all the years he put into Weymouth.
He was a fantastic person who couldn't make an enemy with anyone and he will be very sadly missed.
Guy's funeral will be on July 2 at noon at Astwood Crematorium in Worcester.
