OLIVIA Colman took one of the top honours as the Golden Globes ahead of the return of Broadchurch.
The actress, who plays Ellie Miller in the series, took the award for best performance by an actress in a supporting role in a series, limited series or motion picture made for television at the Hollywood awards show.
She won the award for her role in the Night Manager.
The third series of Broadchurch filmed in West Bay this year and will return to ITV in February.
There was also success for Netflix series The Crown, which won the best television series award.
Craig Cheeseman, who was born in Weymouth, worked on the series, with his job to make sure everything looked as realistic as possible.
He recently won the property master category in the Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards in Los Angeles.
