SNOW has fallen on Dorset.
Unfortunately it was more like sleet and there wasn't enough of it to go outside and build a snowman.
But it didn't stop readers from capturing the evidence that it did snow.
A picture from reader, Judith Garrett shows light dusting of snow in Charlton Down.
Snowflakes were also spotted in Weymouth.
There were also reports of light snow in Blandford, Martinstown, Cerne Abbas, Poxwell and at Hardys Monument on Friday evening.
On Facebook Jo Clayton wrote: "We just had a heavy shower of snow in the piddle valley on the way to Dorchester. Lasted all of 5 minutes. Exciting for a while though."
Another reader, Josie Farmer, managed to catch a photo of a snowflake in her hair.
Snow was expected to fall in the early hours of Saturday morning, according to the Met Office.
Blandford Forum was originally forecast to have snow on Saturday from 5am to 7am but light snow was then predicted for 8pm on Friday.
Temperatures are set to remain cold over the weekend with highs of just 4C on Saturday. However, it will feel like -4C until 8am and it won't feel any warmer than 0C during the rest of the day.
Sunday will be chilly once again with the wind chill making it feel much colder than the predicted 6C.
Light snow has also been falling in the east of the county and is expected to fall in the west of the county today.
The far west of Dorset currently seeing some snow showers, the risk continues throughout the day.
