WARNING: Two areas of Bolton hit by spate of burglaries
POLICE have urged people to be vigilant after an increase in domestic burglaries.
Officers are reporting the increase in the Heaton and Lostock areas.
People are being reminded to lock all doors and remove keys from near letterboxes.
Police said that the number of vehicles stolen in the area with keys has also increased – and that some people are leaving their front doors unlocked.
Officers also wanted to remind people when they go on holiday to ask someone to remove post from behind doors. To report a crime, call police on 101.
