PUPILS at St Mary's school in Bridport presented a modern version of Little Red Riding Hood - where the feisty heroine produces a revolver from her knickers and guns down the wolf.
The Roald Dahl adaptation of the Brothers Grimm classic was staged by members of the dance and drama club with help from expressive arts co-ordinator Ann Lambert and teachers Mike Greaves, Helen Finch and Debbie Russell.
Mrs Lambert said the youngsters had done brilliantly, presenting two lively shows to the parents.
"They were absolutely fantastic and excelled themselves," she said.
"They had lots of input into the direction, production and choreography."
