A waterspout was spotted sweeping across Weymouth bay this morning.
And numerous residents in the area caught the unusual sighting on camera.
A waterspout is an intense columnar vortex (usually appearing as a funnel-shaped cloud) that occurs over a body of water.
Lawrence Thorne managed to capture it on camera.
Julie Robinson from The Warwick Guesthouse on the Esplanade also managed to capture the waterspout.
Student nurse, Abigail Vincent caught the waterspout when she was having a coffee at her mum's flat on the Esplanade.
And Jason Seale managed to capture the dramatic footage from his home in Weymouth.
