Learning Gateway Centre Manager Peter Vowles, 56, says that this year's Primary College has been particularly successful.
The idea itself came from the Chesil Partnership and the 60 workshops seem to have been greatly enjoyed by the children.
From his point of view, the hardest thing was to ensure that there were enough buses to transport everyone. However, the friendly college staff worked well as a team and helped to make everything run smoothly.
There was one issue he wished us to raise though.
He felt that a man of his calibre, who had been loyal to the college for 25 years, should be paid more.
He demonstrated this by showing us his empty pockets.
