Wareham Railway Station has been temporarily closed due to a fire near to the station.
The fire is understood to have started at the industrial estate on John's Road.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service are at the scene and have cordoned off the site.
A spokesman from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service said: "We received a call to the fire around 7.16pm. There are 8 fire engines at the scene. There are currently 4 main lines in use, 2 hose reel jets and 6 fire fighters with breathing aparatus.
"The fire is within a workshop and is under control."
Dorset Police are also at the scene.
A spokesman from South West Trains said: "Wareham is closed due to a fire near the station. Trains will not be stopping in either direction, until further notice.
"The fire is being dealt with and the service is estimated to continue reasonably soon. So anyone travelling via the station is advised to keep checking for updates."
