How times have changed! Over the years countless youngsters have enjoyed getting outdoors at the Carey Outdoor Education Centre in Wareham Forest.
The centre is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, and Dorset County Council has shared this video of young people enjoying the facility in the 1940s.
Carey Outdoor Education Centre is a woodland venue in Wareham Forset for learning and living in the outdoors.
They provide a range of activities and courses to groups, which can include schools and organisations. It offers day and residential visits.
