A sensational fashion party is coming to Dorchester town centre.

Are you a fan of designer clothes? Love high street labels at low prices? Then this is the event for you.

High End to High Street is being organised by Dorchester Arts in efforts to raise funds for the organisation in new and creative ways.

Women in the area are being encouraged to clear out their wardrobes and donate their branded classics and high street labels to the event – and that way they will have plenty of room for new bargains.

Remember that dress you never wore? The suit you only wore once? The shoes that never fitted? Why not donate them.

Although plans have not long been finalised donations have steadily arriving for the event with one of the top donations being a Hermès scarf.

But more donations are needed for the event to be as big and successful as organisers hope.

Elizabeth Evensen, marketing manager at Dorchester Arts said: “We’re really looking forward to this event. It is something a little different and we hope the community come together to grab some bargains.”

It will be held on Sunday, November 19 from 3pm onwards at the Corn Exchange.

People can donate their pre-loved items in to the Corn Exchange between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
