Weymouth Secondary College has had a visit from a prosperous building company.
Its name is Howard Holdings and it has set up a workshop of architecture in Weymouth College.
The workshop itself had its own theme - building for the Olympics!
From the looks of it, the students were coming up with some great creativity, from hotels to ice-cream trucks! The director Gary Charman seemed very pleased with the ideas the students were coming up with.
The students were creating models for ideas in Weymouth for the upcoming Olympics. One of the students called Jake Hamilton said he was enjoying it!
Also, a student called Oliver Harding is looking forward to a lot more of Weymouth Secondary College! In this case, raft building which he is doing tomorrow at the other Secondary College site, Kingston Maurward.
Just another workshop from what Secondary College has to offer!
Gary Charman himself saw this workshop as a great opportunity for kids to meet other kids, and to see what kind of ideas students in Weymouth can come up with!
