AN 82-year-old woman died after her car smashed into a wall at Beaminster.
The incident in The Square began at 5.50pm when the woman, who was driving a blue Rover 216, emerged from Fleet Street.
She then crossed The Square before going down a narrow alleyway by the side of 18 The Square.
Police said that her car then crashed into a wall, adding that no other vehicles or people were involved.
Officers said the woman comes from Yeovil area and that they are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen what happened.
