An evening of mind reading, magic and comedy will be coming to Dorchester.

The Video of All Video Events (TVOAV) is getting reading to host renowned magician Chris Piercy and his one man show 'Big Hoorays' at Sunninghill Prep School later this month.

Supporting Chris will be cabaret magician Wyn Jones who brings a unique and hysterical spin to live magic.

The event has been organised to fundraise for Julia's House Children's Hospice who care for terminally ill children and support their families. All profits raised from ticket sales, a raffle and a silent auction will be going directly to the charity.

Organisers have received some exciting raffle prizes including return tickets on the Eurostar and a spa day for two.

Raffle prizes have been donated by some well-known names who have kindly supported the event, including Eurostar, Tesco, NEXT, Animal, River Cottage, Farmer Palmers and many more.

A silent auction will also be running on the night which will feature some very special signed merchandise from sports stars such as Harry Redknapp, Sir Ben Ainslie, Dame Kelly Holmes, Dame Ellen MacArthur and Jonny Wilkinson.

The auction's headline prize is a £100 Marks and Spencer's voucher donated by event sponsors, mortgage consultancy firm Blueberry Mortgages of Poundbury.

The firm have also offered to cover the events operating costs.

Christopher Moyse of Blueberry Mortgages of Poundbury said: "The directors and Blueberry family were very willing to support this cause."

The event will be held on Sunday, November 26.
