A flood warning has been issued for West Bay Harbour and Lyme Regis Harbour.
The Environment Agency say flooding to properties around West Beach and the harbour is likely this morning.
Large waves and spray are likely so take care near coastal paths and promenades.
This may cause localised standing water on roads between Park Dean Campsite and West Bay Road.
Environment Agency staff have checked defences in the area and we are continuing to monitor the situation close.
Coastal conditions should ease for Friday's high tide at 9am, however we are continuing to monitor the situation.
Flooding may already be affecting properties, low lying areas and roads in Lyme Regis.
