Dorchester Brewhouse and Kitchen is calling for the input of locals in the development of its new pub garden to reflect the tastes of the community.
Dorchester’s Brewhouse and Kitchen Pub, based in vibrant Brewery Square is set for development in the New Year.
As part of this development, the ‘grown-up pub’ group is seeking the opinions of local Dorchester residents on how the pub’s new garden should look.
Following successful developments of the pub gardens in Southbourne and Bournemouth, which included popular heated beach huts for al fresco dining, the Dorchester pub will be the latest Brewhouse and Kitchen in Dorset to benefit from a garden development.
To ensure the garden reflects the ethos and culture of Dorchester, the pub is looking to locals and surrounding residents to have their say on what they would like to see in the garden.
John Gleeson, operations manager for Brewhouse and Kitchen, said: "We are keen to listen to opinions from the people of Dorchester on how they would like to see their Brewhouse and Kitchen pub developed. Pub gardens are a great community meeting place, particularly in the warmer months, and so we want to make sure our new development really reflects local wants and needs.”
Whether it’s heated beach huts, hammocks, fire pits, plants and bedding, to parasols or fairy lights, Brewhouse and Kitchen is inviting Dorchesterians to get in touch and have their say by emailing dorchester@brewhouseandkitchen.com or messaging their Facebook page@BKDorchester.
