True Dippy fans are being offered the opportunity to see him after dark.
For a truly memorable experience of giganotosaurus proportions, Dorset County Museum is offering a limited number of visitors a special night time treat to see Dippy.
With many day time tickets already reserved and demand still at record levels, Dorset County Museum is taking the unprecedented step of offering a limited number of visitors the unique experience of seeing Dippy after dark.
The first of these special ‘Dippy After Dark’ took place this week and was a roaring success.
Tickets give visitors full access to the museum where they can spend the evening with Dippy and explore the museum’s other exhibits which include their historic Jurassic Coast, Ancient Dorset and Thomas Hardy’s ‘A Writer’s Dorset’ collections.
Dippy on Tour has been brought to Dorset by the Natural History Museum and Garfield Weston Foundation. He was officially unveiled to the public on Saturday where thousands of people flocked to see him.
His stay in Dorset is for a limited period only and will never be repeated again, so whilst he is there people are being encouraged to go along and create some history of their own.
Dippy will be at Dorset County Museum until Monday May 7.
