PEOPLE across Dorset are being invited to get their pyjamas on for a good cause.

The invite comes from Julia's House which is looking to promote its PJ Day on Wednesday, May 23 as part of Children’s Hospice Week.

Fundraisers wear their pyjamas in return for a donation to support families caring for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition.

Children’s Hospice Week runs from May 21-27 and its aim is to raise awareness and much-needed funds for hospices like Julia’s House which rely on public donations and fundraising.

Julia’s House cares for around 150 children and supports their families across Dorset and Wiltshire at its hospices in Corfe Mullen and Devizes, in family homes and in the community.

The week is organised nationally by Together For Short Lives which has chosen ‘Life’s Short ‘ as this year’s theme.

You can join in and wear your PJs to work, school or at home and in return for a £1 donation to Julia’s House. Donate online at juliashouse.org or text ‘PJJH18 £1’ to 70070.

Julia’s House will be sharing pictures throughout the day so don’t forget to post a pyjama selfie on Facebook @juliashousechildrenshospice using #PJDay
