I have had a beach hut adjacent to Brunswick Terrace for some years and love it.
None of those who rent the huts behave in an anti-social manner, the problems occur after dark and the blame cannot be placed upon the beach huts.
If our short-sighted council had not created a dark and menacing seafront by disposing of the bright and cheerful fairy lights, the Esplanade would have be used for its rightful purpose; as a pleasant and welcoming place for families to promenade along during the summer evenings.
As it is, this go-to area appeals only to undesirable elements. Stop blaming the beach huts and lay the blame where it should truly be!
