These CCTV images show two men suspected of assault.
Officers from Dorset Police are renewing their call for any witnesses, or anyone who recognises the suspects, to come forward.
The assault is believed to have taken place between midnight and 1 am on Friday, June 22, somewhere in Sentry Road in Swanage.
The victim, a 38-year-old man from London, was on holiday in the seaside town with his family. He had spent the evening drinking when he was attacked shortly after being ejected from The Snack Bar in the High Street.
The victim sustained cuts above his left eye and the back of his head; however, he is unable to recall the circumstances of the injuries, or who may have been responsible.
Detective Constable Jeremy Cuff, of Weymouth CID, said: “I have been investigating this assault and, following enquiries, I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of two suspects. I would ask anyone who recognises these two men to please contact Dorset Police.
“I would also urge anyone who witnessed what happened and is yet to speak to officers to come forward.”
