I HAVE read in the Echo how there is considerable opposition to the current Pavilion peninsula development proposal.
While I disagree that the council needs to ‘go back to the drawing board’, I do strongly feel that the proposal lacks something special to attract visitors.
There are plans for several restaurants.
How about if one of them was themed in line with the Weymouth Sea Life Tower and Sea Life Centre?
This could be done by surrounding the interior of the restaurant with a large tank containing fish. Ideally the walls and ceiling would be one big fish tank.
It would be like a restaurant inside a Sea Life Centre exhibit.
The diners would literally be surrounded by water and fish.
This would be something quite different and I am sure that it would prove popular. Creating something like this would likely require the support of Merlin Entertainment and perhaps a restaurant chain.
