Sunday is the main day of the Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival.

It's been running since Friday but today sees the main procession through the village, the speeches from political heavyweights and some top class musicians.

It's free entry - but it costs £10 to park your car. This money goes to fund the festival and is also shared with volunteers from the village who support the church and village hall.

Motorists be warned - the main road through Tolpuddle (main Road/Dorchester Road) is closed to all traffic from 1pm to 6pm today.

Enter via the east if coming by car - follow the signs.

Organisers advise visitors to get there early today otherwise you may not be able to access the car parks. The festival camping car park is reserved on Sunday for disabled parking and will soon fill up.

Alternatively, there is a shuttle bus that runs between Dorchester South station and Tolpuddle on Sunday.

Once the march assembles for its 2pm start no traffic will be allowed on the road until the procession is over and it is safe.
