THREE neighbours from Weymouth have won the People's Postcode Lottery.
The winners, who live on Victoria Street, were awarded the People’s Postcode Lottery’s Daily Prize of £1,000 each.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson offered his congratulations and said: “I’m over the moon for those who picked up a prize in Weymouth today! I’m sure they’ll have a blast spending their cash. Sign up to play with your postcode to be in with a chance of winning.”
Players play with their postcodes to win cash prizes, while raising money for charities and good causes across Great Britain and globally.
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales from the People’s Postcode Lottery goes directly to charities.
Players have raised £330 million for 4,000 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
Last year, Weymouth and District Table Tennis League was awarded £1,334 as a result of the Players Postcode Lottery, which it used to provide table tennis to a local cancer support group.
