A post office branch in Weymouth has been revamped and is now open for longer.
Preston Post Office at the Spar shop in Preston Road has undergone a transformation with a new modern layout.
It opened today (Saturday) following 10 days of refurbishment work which closed the whole store.
Post Office services are provided from a low-screened counter located at the end of the retail till, on the left hand side of the shop as you enter. The branch was closed for 10 days for the refurbishment.
The new opening hours are Monday to Sunday 6.45am-9pm.
Billy Ware, Post Office Regional Network Change Manager, said: “We are confident that this vibrant new-style post office will meet customer needs.
"This modernisation is part of a major investment programme, the largest in the history of the Post Office, and will secure services for the future.”
