RUNNERs will be putting their best foot forward in aid of Weldmar.

The Dumble Bimble race returns on Tuesday, September 4 at 6.30pm, and runners of all ages and abilities are invited to get involved.

The race is organised every year by the Royal Manor of Portland Athletic Club (RMPAC) to remember Alan and Andrew Dumble, who both lost their lives to cancer.

There will be two runs, one 2km long and one five miles long. Everyone taking part will need to sign in on the night. Those under 18 will need a consent signature from their parent or guardian and all children aged 11 or under must be accompanied by a parent or adult.

Entry costs £4 for adults and £1 for children, with all funds going to Weldmar Hospicecare Trust. There will also be a raffle.

Entry will be at the YMCA in Reforne and both runs will start from alongside the Red Triangle cricket ground with the 2k starting off up Wide Street towards the Heights and the five mile running down Weston Road.

Sponsor form are available from Smiths Engravers, Cards 'n' Celebrations or the Weldmar charity shop in Easton.
