There was a crash on the A35 near Dorchester.
Four vehicles were involved in a crash on the westbound carriage on the A35 Dorchester Bypass.
The incident occurred just before 12.30pm between the West Stafford turnoff (A352) and the Football Ground Roundabout.
No one is believed to have been injured.
Police attended the scene and the vehicles were later recovered.
The local authority has been called because of an oil spill left on the road after the crash.
Both carriageways are open but traffic is restricted and there are reports of queues.
