WHAT is the matter with your local council?

Firstly they seem to want to discourage visitors and holidaymakers.

Why have public consultations about the peninsula if they are going to completely ignore the majority.

We went to see Jethro at the Pavilion Theatre on Thursday, we have a disabled badge and need to park nearby.

To suggest removing the parking, which I might add was full, is complete stupidity,to put an hotel on a site where it is not needed, thereby pushing people away in favour of more user friendly towns.

The theatre brings in folk from all over the country.

One gentleman had come down from Gloucester with a friend and decided to stay on and have a fishing trip.

The council plans are trying to make this pretty seaside resort into a no go area for tourists, if people can't park, they will stop coming and bang goes an almighty amount of revenue for the whole area.

The Pavilion draws a good crowd and is working brilliantly, why try to throw a spanner in the works? If I sound disappointed with the council, I am.
