WE ARE a small town garden situated in Dorchester that has been open under the National Garden Scheme for 11 years raising money for charity, the major recipients being Macmillan, Marie Curie, Hospice UK, Careers Trust and Queens Nursing Institute plus others.

With the exception of giving one talk on clematis we have finished doing our open gardens for this year and are proud to announce that we have made £1,255.50.

We have also been lucky enough to open under the banner of Joseph Weld, something we plan to do next year.

Over the years we have been lucky enough to appear on Gardeners World and this year Amateur Gardener did an article about us, but without your support with visiting the garden and giving donations we would not be able to raise money for these and other worthwhile charities.

Your visits have been enjoyable and informative, something Chris and I enjoy also our tea ladies Trish and Sue who have given their time unstintingly and with a smile and a laugh.

So I would like to take this opportunity to say a very public thank you to you all and hope to see you all next year.

For those of you who haven’t had a chance to visit us we would love to see, our garden is quirky with a number of rooms, hopefully something for everyone
