So little is put in to the buildings that are there to equip our younger generations with the skills they need to build the future.

We call these buildings, schools – these are the institutions to teach young people and in which our future politicians, doctors, journalists and teachers will be made.

Then surely, we need to offer them at least an adequate if not astonishing chance to improve the world in which we live.

So why aren’t we?

Funding into education continues to be consistently cut but what else is so important that we are restricting the future?

I can’t think of any.

We all need to show a greater interest in schooling.

Parents – show a greater interest in your children's school and demand a better future.

Students – have a greater interest in how your school is run. Join organisations run by students for students to fight for what you deserve.

Your future is paramount to everyone around you - but most importantly yourself.

You only have this remarkable chance once in your lifetime so why let someone else ruin it for you.

Stand up for yourself so you can get the best possible chance in life!
